This enlightening museum is housed in the renovated Italian Renaissance building which was once home to Pensacola’s City Hall. Filled with historic artifacts, antique photographs and one-of-a-kind artwork, it also contains a hands-on Discovery Gallery for children. HOURS: Mon-Sat 10am-4pm. FREE Admission.

Pensacola Museum of Art
This fine art museum is housed in the former 1908 Pensacola jail building. It has since been renovated to accommodate revolving exhibits and classrooms. With a wide variety of exhibitions that range from early American Paintings to Modern Sculpture, the exhibitions here include many works in a variety of mediums by both famous and lesser known artists. Museum shop on premises.

Pensacola Museum of Naval Aviation
Ranked as one of the top 10 tourist attractions in the state, this incredible museum explores the subject of flight from the birth of aviation to the present and on into its future. Over 150 meticulously restored aircraft are on display here including the Blue Angel A-4 Skyhawks which hang suspended in the team’s notorious diamond formation. The museum also includes the Cubi Bar Cafe and the IMAX Naval Aviation Memorial Theatre. A 10Best favorite!

Pensacola Historical Museum
The museum contains information related to the development of the city, and it also celebrates the contributions made by early settlers. Exhibits encompass the history of Native Americans, maritime history and military history from the colonization of the city through the Victorian age.
